本文基于中国企业社会责任研究中心发布的2008-2012国有上市企业社会责任榜单,从监事会人员特征如监事人数、年龄和职业背景等来分析监事会对于我国国有上市企业社会责任履行的影响。实证结果表明监事人数,年龄和职业背景均与社会责任履行显著正相关。提出要适当增加监事人数,任命年龄层偏大且其具有相关职业背景的人作为监事会成员等建议,以推动国有上市公司更好的履行社会责任。
This article is based on the 2008-2012 list of state-owned listed corporate social responsibility published by China CSR Research Center and analyzes the influence of the board of supervisors on the performance of state-owned listed companies in China based on the characteristics of the board of supervisors, such as the number of supervisors, age and professional background. The empirical results show that the number of supervisors, age and professional background are significantly and positively related to the fulfillment of social responsibilities. Proposed to properly increase the number of supervisors, appointment of older age and its relevant professional background as a member of the board of supervisors and other recommendations to promote the state-owned listed companies to better fulfill their social responsibilities.
