The structure and operation of a micro-electrolysis conductance detector are introduced. Detector is characterized by automatic start and automatic maintenance, is a new combination of gas-liquid separator - conductivity cell. Detectors can be used to selectively detect halogen, sulfur and nitrogen contained in compounds. The lowest detection limit for general chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticides, such as aldrin, dieldrin, heptachlor and the like, is 10 to 20 pg. The relative selectivity of carbon is approximately 10 ~ 6, linear 10 ~ 5. The paper also discusses the effect of detector geometry and reaction conditions.
