The global water pollution is worsening and has a profound impact on the safety of human drinking water. Micronucleus test in fish as a rapid and inexpensive method of toxicology detection is often used to evaluate chromosome breakage and spindle damage caused by various types of contaminants in water environment. This article reviews the progress of its test methods.
