闽糯706是1986年福建省农科院稻麦研究所选育的优质早糯新品种。它是(7056×IR_(29))F_1代杂种的干种子用~(60)Co-γ射线30Kγ辐射诱变选育而成,是杂交与辐射相结合的产物。该品种产量高、抗性好、米质优、熟期适中、早晚兼用,在1988年省区试预备试验及多点示范中表现突出。现将主要性状的初步鉴定分述如下:一、产量该品种于1987年升入本所新品系鉴定试验,折合亩产552.5公斤,比对照品种红410增产8.9％,比78130增产2.3％,早熟5天。1988年参加省早稻区试预备试验,8个参试点,平均亩产345.4公斤,比对照红410亩产324.3公 Fujian waxy 706 is the 1986 Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences Institute of rice and wheat breeding as early as new waxy varieties.
