近日,王岐山同志在中纪委座谈会讨论结束后,向与会专家推荐《旧制度与大革命》一书引起了广大干部群众的热议。“革命”这一历史性话题,除了法国历史学家托克维尔等人做过经典论述外,马克思、恩格斯两人的贡献最大,他们在《共产党宣言》、《国家与革命》等专著中创立了宏大的马克思主义革命理论,历史影响极其深远。作为一名以正统的马克思主义者或马克思主义“左派”自居的思想家,英国学者特里·伊格尔顿继承发扬前辈马克思主义者的研究成果,从革命与暴力的关系、革命目标实现的长期性等层面,言简意赅地对马克思主义革命理论进行了总结性阐释,其创新性观点对我们不无启示。
