用豚鼠硷性髓磷脂蛋白(BP)加弗氏完全佐剂(FCA)免疫敏感的实验动物可诱发实验性自身免疫性脑脊髓炎(EAE),再注射百日咳菌苗可明显加重反应。发生EAE的易感性取决于动物本身的的遗传性。作者选用Lewis、Brown-Norway(BN)、Fischer(F)、PVG品系及F_1(BN×F)和F_2(BN×F)杂交品系的3月龄大鼠,研究百日咳菌苗诱发EAE的作用。结果表明,Lewis大鼠用BP加FCA免疫后发生EAE的易感性最高,94%出现神经系统症状,14%死亡,再注射百日咳菌苗的6只大鼠全部死于超急性EAE,并出现明显的脑组织学改变。用BP加FCA免疫34只F大鼠,仅1只出现轻微的EAE症状,16只BP免疫时注射百日咳菌苗的大鼠则全部发生严
Experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) was induced in guinea pigs immunosuppressed with guinea pig alkaline myelin protein (BP) and Freund’s complete adjuvant (FCA). Infection with pertussis bacilli significantly aggravated the response. Susceptibility to EAE depends on the heritability of the animal itself. In this study, the Lewis rats in Brown, Norway, BN, Fischer, PVG and F_1 (BN × F) and F_2 (BN × F) crosses were used to study the effect of pertussis vaccine on EAE. The results showed that Lewis rats had the highest susceptibility to EAE after immunization with BP plus FCA, 94% showed neurological symptoms, and 14% died. All of the 6 rats injected with pertussis vaccine died of hyperacute EAE and showed obvious Changes in brain histology. Thirty-four F rats were immunized with BP plus FCA with only mild EAE symptoms and all 15 rats injected with pertussis vaccine when immunized with BP
