Objective To investigate the relationship between ascites-type advanced schistosomiasis [hereinafter referred to as late blood (ascites)] with hyponatremia and liver function, prognosis and other complications to guide clinical. Methods The clinical and laboratory data of 180 patients with late blood (ascites) complicated with hyponatremia hospitalized in our hospital in recent two years were analyzed. The Child-Pugh classification of liver function [1] (132.31 ± 1.92), grade B (129.69 ± 3.15), grade C (127.40 ± 3.03). The results with the reduction of serum sodium concentration, the incidence of complications gradually increased, the prognosis gradually worse. Conclusion Clinic should try to avoid the factors that induce or aggravate hyponatremia, we must distinguish between true hyponatremia and diluted hyponatremia, and actively control it.
