据统计,科学研究中65～70％的情报源来自期刊。美国鲍克(Bowker)公司《马里希期刊指南》24版报道,目前世界期刊约为6.9万种,并以每年大约1000种的增长速度递增。面对我国现有财政承受能力,为使国外期刊的收集取得合理的社会和经济效益,对国外期刊情报量评价的研究分析已刻不容缓。我所对此进行了初步探索与尝试,采集了较大容量的数据,运用建立数据库的形式,使用与dBaseⅢ兼容的Foxbase语言,在微机上编制了《国外期刊情报量论证参考手册》(以下简称手册)。编辑的周期短,速度快,数据准确可靠,减少大量繁杂的手工劳动,将机编手册打印成书本手册后,携带方便,使用简单。
According to statistics, 65 to 70% of intelligence sources in scientific research are from journals. According to the 24th edition of Bowker’s Marish Guide to the United States, there are currently about 69,000 journals in the world, growing at an annual rate of about 1,000. In the face of the existing financial capacity of our country, in order to obtain reasonable social and economic benefits for the collection of foreign periodicals, it is imperative to study and evaluate the evaluation of the amount of information in foreign periodicals. I conducted a preliminary exploration of this attempt, the acquisition of a larger capacity of the data, the use of the establishment of a database format, the use of dBase Ⅲ-compatible Foxbase language on the computer prepared a “reference manual Foreign Journal Quantitative evidence” (hereinafter referred to as manual). Editor’s cycle is short, fast, accurate and reliable data, reducing a large number of complicated manual labor, the machine-made brochure printed into a book manual, easy to carry, easy to use.
