本文从全球价值链分工的视角出发,探讨逆向服务外包对服务业出口技术复杂度的影响机制,并利用跨国面板数据进行实证检验。研究发现:适度的逆向服务外包对服务业出口技术复杂度有积极的推动作用,但过高的逆向外包会诱发其抑制效应,使得发包企业被俘获在创新价值链低端,出口技术复杂度提升受阻,从而逆向服务外包与服务业出口技术复杂度之间呈现倒“U”型非线性关系。进一步地,从细分行业来看,资本密集型服务外包、公共服务密集型服务外包及劳动密集型服务外包均对服务业出口技术复杂度有显著的促进作用,知识密集型服务外包囿于接包方对核心技术秘密的保护而使得发包企业在逆向发包时遭遇“技术瓶颈”。此外,经济发展水平的提高及信息基础设施的完善均有利于促进服务业出口技术复杂度提升。
