The ecological environment in the arid and semi-arid areas is deteriorating day by day. It is a major issue that has been a widespread concern because it seriously threatens the production, construction and people’s livelihood. At present, one of the main measures universally accepted is planting trees and afforesting the earth. However, the natural conditions in the arid region are extremely harsh, creating arborescens with high transpiration and water consumption and long-term growth cycle. Therefore, in the afforestation and greening of arid areas, many scientists and technologists emphasize the construction of shrubbery with less transpiration and water consumption. In fact, shrubbery is often the forerunner of arbor forest from the law of succession of forests. However, the general economic use of shrubs is low, the value is low, and large-scale promotion is difficult.
