“群众公认”，是我们党选拔任用干部工作中一贯遵循的一项重要原则。在新形势下坚持这一原则具有更为重要的现实意义。本文认为坚持群众公认原则是党的群众路线的集中体现，是党管干部原则的必然要求，是正确评价干部的重要环节，是干部衡量自己功过得失的一面明镜。在干部选拔任用过程中坚持群众公认原则，必须让群众参与选择干部，严格按照选拔任用干部的程序办事，增加选拔干部透明度，正确处理领导用人与群众选人的关系、群众公认与个别群众议论的关系。
“The mass recognition” is an important principle that has always been followed in the work of selecting and appointing cadres for our party. Adhering to this principle in the new situation has more important practical significance. This article holds that upholding the principle of universally recognized people is a concentrated expression of the mass line of the party and is an inevitable requirement of the party cadre principle. It is also an important link for correctly evaluating cadres and a mirror for cadres to measure their merits and demerits. In upholding the principle of public recognition in the process of selecting and appointing cadres, we must let the masses participate in the selection of cadres, strictly follow the procedures of selecting and appointing cadres, increase the transparency of the selection of cadres, correctly handle the relationship between the leading cadres and the masses, and the public’s recognition and individual masses’ discussions relationship.
