色散双窗口或色散平坦光纤由于在两个波段或相当宽的波长范围有低色散特性,因而倍受人们的关注。三包层或四包层结构是获得上述特性的典型结构型式。本文概述了四包层结构的基本理论,对有关特性和结构参数进行了必要的计算和考虑,研究了有关制作工艺,最终获得了在1.3μm到1.55μm波长范围内色散<9ps/km-nm的色散平坦光纤。
Dispersion double window or dispersion flattened fiber has drawn much attention due to its low dispersion in both wavelength bands or rather wide wavelength range. Three-layer or four-layer structure is to obtain the above characteristics of the typical structure type. In this paper, the basic theory of the four-layer structure is summarized. The relevant characteristics and structural parameters are calculated and considered. The fabrication process is studied.
