皖南宣城县位于湿润中亚热带的北部,在全国土壤分布图上划为红壤、黄壤地带,在全国土壤分布图上划为红壤土类(黄红壤亚类)该县丘陵区由第四纪更新世(Q_2)的红色粘土、更新世后期(Q_3)的下蜀黄土、白垩纪的酸性紫红色砂岩发育的土壤,过去往往从地带性出发,根据一般的理化性质,均划为黄红壤.鉴于皖南土壤发生分类研究较少,我们近年结合宣城县的土壤普查工作,特对上述三种成土母质形成的土壤,进行了系统的化验研究,发现三者的属性有较大差别.对于土壤发生分类应把成土条件、成土过程和土壤属性结合起来研究,但应以土壤属性为主.本着这一原则,经研究,我们认为宣城县由红色
Xuancheng County, southern Anhui, is located in the northern part of the humid subtropics and is classified as red and yellow soil in the national soil profile. It is classified as red-loam soil (yellow-red soil) in the national soil profile. In the past, the red clay in the Q_2, the Xiashu Loess in the late Pleistocene (Q_3), and the acid purple purplish sandstone in the Cretaceous were formerly zonated and were classified as yellow-red soil according to the general physical and chemical properties.
