Objective To study the general rules and major influencing factors of medicinal plant Ulmus in Jilin Province and to establish the habitat of Ulmus pumila in Jilin Province by using ecological factors. Methods Through the field investigation, the longitude and latitude information of Burkina Faso was recorded. Using GIS technology, combined with the use of a variety of ecological types of spatial data to obtain the distribution of Burnet elm ecological factors. Mathematical statistics were used to analyze the ecological factors of Ulmus pumila. Then, the spatial data were tailored using the analysis results to obtain suitable regions for the growth of Ulmus pumila. Results The elevation, annual mean temperature, annual average precipitation, soil types, topography types and vegetation types of six major ecological factors in 54 sites of Burgess in Jilin Province were studied. Single factor analysis made clear the main range of each ecological factor. The scatter analysis of matrix showed that there was no correlation between the number of each elm and each ecological factor and each ecological factor. Logistic analysis showed that only the annual average Precipitation had a significant effect on the distribution of Burnet. On the basis of this, the main body of the adaptive zone of Burnet is located in the eastern part of Jilin Province with a total area of 49263 km ~ 2. Conclusion The results of this study are helpful to elucidate the suitability of the growth of medicinal plants, the ecological environment and the relationship between producing areas, and provide a scientific basis for the protection and rational application of the resources of Ulmus pumila.
