现代企业的生存与发展面临三个重大挑战:一是难以精准把握变化越来越快、竞争越来越激烈的市场环境;二是难以快速响应层出不穷、日新月异的新兴事物;三是人员越来越注重按个性发展和追求自我价值的实现。企业传统的单一组织机构已经无法有效应对这些挑战,因此,跨若干个组织机构的虚拟团队这种新型组织形态应运而生,这是企业管理变革的必然选择。随着电信企业步入全业务运营时代,专业分工越来越细,人力资源越来越短缺,以客户需求为导向的工作任务日益需要跨部门组建专业团队来完成。中国移动广东公司揭阳分公司(以下简称“揭阳移动”)在班组建设中积极探索以个人特长和追求为核心组建虚拟合作团队,取得了良好效果,虚拟团队为公司的经营和发展发挥了越来越重要的作用,已经成为公司不可或缺的一种班组形态。
