After the new regulations were promulgated, many hospitals in China began to set up and set up full-time medical service quality monitoring departments. Xiehe Hospital has set up a doctor-patient relationship reception office, and a centralized management framework is being gradually established. However, the prevention of medical risks is not achieved through the legislation itself or the establishment of a new department in the hospital. How do we integrate these legal provisions, organizational structures and medical practices, and how to absorb the essence of these advanced risk management systems? Is it effective? Does medical risk management represent the direction of future treatment of medical disputes by Chinese hospitals? The dialogue between Beijing Peking Union Medical Center and the US-based University College of Social Security on medical risk management can give us some inspiration.
