血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)是重要的促血管生成因子,可由巨噬细胞、基质细胞和视网膜内皮细胞分泌,也可由肿瘤细胞分泌,其主要功能在于促进血管内皮细胞的分裂和增长,诱导新生血管形成。VEGF过表达与多种肿瘤的进展及预后不良密切相关。近年来研究发现,缺氧、生长因子和细胞因子、癌基因和抑癌基因以及激素等因素均参与肿瘤细胞VEGF的表达调控。
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is an important pro-angiogenic factor secreted by macrophages, stromal cells and retinal endothelial cells and secreted by tumor cells. Its main function is to promote the division and growth of vascular endothelial cells and induce neovascularization form. Overexpression of VEGF is closely related to the progress of various tumors and poor prognosis. In recent years, studies have found that hypoxia, growth factors and cytokines, oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes and hormones and other factors are involved in the regulation of VEGF expression in tumor cells.
