As one of the most influential female writers in China in the 20th century, Ding Ling occupies a prominent position in the history of Chinese modern literature. Ding Ling’s identity as a female writer, as well as the twists and turns between her and party politics and the impact that such a relationship has on her life and writing make her unique and well received by the world’s literary community. Her works have been successively translated into more than 20 kinds of Chinese characters. She is one of the most widely translated modern Chinese writers in the English-speaking world. Many of her works have been collected into Western literary journals and English translations of Chinese literature. She is a member of the history of modern Chinese literature One of the few writers in English translators and monographs. In 1945, Gong Pusheng published Ding Lingying at Kutub Publishers in India
