采用针尖电晕极化方式对非线性光学单元与液晶基元交替排列的聚丙二酸酯液晶进行极化取向,通过紫外-可见光谱吸收的变化求出了取向序参数并考察了取向的稳定性,发现极化膜处在高于其玻璃化温度10℃以上的环境72h以上,序参数的稳定保留率仍达75%。并通过偏光显微镜考察极化前后的织构变化,首次直接观察到两类不同侧链在电场极化下取向方向扭转近90°的现象。
The polarizations of poly (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate liquid crystal with non-linear optical elements and liquid crystal elements are alternately arranged by the corona polarization method. The alignment parameters are obtained by the change of UV-visible absorption and the stability of orientation is also investigated It was found that the polarization film was above 72 ℃ for more than 10 ℃ above its glass transition temperature and the stable retention rate of sequence parameters still reached 75%. The changes of the texture before and after polarization were examined by polarized light microscope. It was observed for the first time that the orientations of two types of different side chains were nearly 90 ° in the direction of polarization under the electric field polarization.
