为保持苎麻良种特性,加快繁殖速度,近几年我国在苎麻无性繁殖技术上的研究有了很大的进展。八十年代初期苎麻离体(蔸)整株带叶压条和嫩枝、茎稍带叶水插繁殖成功,为苎麻繁殖开辟了一个新途径,由地下茎和成熟的中下部地上茎繁殖,转向了以地上茎嫩枝(或腋芽)、茎稍繁殖为主的研究。1983年以来,先后有四川、湖北、江西等省成功地试验了茎稍土插、砂插育苗技术,使离体压条和嫩枝、茎稍水插技术得到了进一步发展,更便于生产应用。为进一步提高苎麻无性繁殖系数,掌握土插育苗技术,
