Mycoplasma-like bodies are a newly discovered plant pathogenic microorganism. For decades, phytochemical-type diseases are caused by viruses. In 1967, Du et al. Reported in the Journal of Japanese Society of Plant Pathology thin sections of some yellow-type plants by electron microscopy. The pathogenic structure was similar to that of animal pathogens. To date, about 40 species of diseased plants have been found to have mycoplasmas in vivo. Most of these diseases have yellowing features, buds overgrown to form clusters of branches, internodes shortened, leaves becoming smaller and often becoming crisp, leaf color turning yellow or reddish and flowers turning into leaves and the like. These symptoms are in the herbs
