骨折愈合是创伤愈合的一种特殊类型,其过程复杂,受许多因素的影响。临床实践发现,骨折患者若同时伴有脑外伤,其骨折愈合过程明显加快,甚至在未见骨折的某些关节周围出现异位骨化现象.关于此现象的发生,国内外均有临床报道和少量基础研究,但作用机制目前尚未彻底研究清楚。随着近年来人们对脑外伤合并骨折研究的不断深入,已逐渐认识到细胞因子的特殊作用,如碱性成纤维细胞生长因子(bFGF)、转化生长因子-β(TGF-β)及神经生长因子(NGF)等临床已有报道。现就近年来倍受国内外学者关注的血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)在骨折合并脑外伤时对骨折愈合作用的研究进展综述如下。
