对影视作品标题进行翻译时,会涉及到很多翻译技巧与策略。历来研究影视作品标题翻译策略的论著,其成果相较于研究新闻、广告、文学作品标题等方面的成果要少很多,并存在不足,未能充分考虑影视作品标题的特殊性,仍使用传统上对翻译策略的分类方式来考察影视作品标题。本文结合语言层面的理论,将翻译策略分为语音转换法、语义转换法、语用转化法等,然后依此以第69届美国电影电视金球奖提名及获奖作品为例来具体考察影视作品中所使用到的翻译策略,旨在探索影视作品标题不同的翻译方法,并发现翻译中存在的问题。
When translating titles of film and television works, many translation skills and strategies are involved. Historically, the study on the translation strategy of titles of film and television works has produced fewer and fewer achievements than the study of news, advertisements and literary titles, etc., and there are still inadequacies.
