华英,江苏无锡市人,一九三三年在上海入团,三八年加入中国共产党。抗战初期,她积极参加“无锡青年流亡服务团”,在南昌一带进行抗日救亡活动,后由华东局分配到赣东南工作。一九三九年七月,福建省委党代会在崇安坑口召开,华英作为赣东南党代表参加省党代会,会上被推选为省妇女委员。一九四○年下半年,国民党顽固派对我闽北游击区实行封锁,抓捕进出山人员。华英当时在崇安省委机关附近一所小学任教,从事妇女工作。一天,当她从省委机关下山时,被巡山的特务抓捕,旋即押解三元羁押所(今三明市)。为了不暴露身份,华英化名“王清
Huaying, a city of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, joined the Communist Youth League in Shanghai in 1933 and joined the Communist Party of China in 38. In the early days of the war, she actively participated in the “Wuxi Young People’s Exile Service” and carried out anti-Japanese and national salvation activities in the vicinity of Nanchang.
