Norman Mailer, a contemporary American novelist, conscientiously crossed the line between historical truth and literary fiction in The Great Night Under the Night (1968). “The Night Under the Army” combines two seemingly incompatible and mutually contradictory elements of the fictional and non-fictional dual narratives into historical novels through the two major panels, namely “” and “history as the novel ”To obtain, get as a general fiction or non-fictional history and news can not have, unique interpretation of the space and imagination of the art of tension. This article attempts to analyze the history of the non-fictionalized version of the Chinese text, that is, how the author breaks the line between history and novels and uses the fiction of literature to characterize the true history of anti-war demonstrations.
