It has the ability to create, design, and reveal an idea, while at the same time it tends to simplify the complexity of the work, abstracted as a simple symbol. It continually updates the reproduction of a piece of work, which in turn reduces it to an ever-changing image. As a result, diagrams can easily become consumption of things and events and become consumption of our experience of the world in which we live. The article critically points out that illustration is not merely a disguise of reality or a reality of social construction. It is also an expression of nihilism.
