在建筑学和城市领域中,图解无疑是一种强大的工具。它具备建立、设计、揭示一个想法的能力,同时又倾向于把作品中的复杂性简化、抽象为一种简单的符号。它不断地更新对一件作品的再现,继而将其缩减为一幅处于不断变动中的图像。因此,图解很容易成为对事物和事件的消费,成为对我们对所处世界的体验的消费。文章批判性地指出图解不仅仅是一种对现实的伪装,或者一种社会建构的现实,它同样是一种虚无主义的表现。
Illustration is undoubtedly a powerful tool in architecture and urban areas. It has the ability to create, design, and reveal an idea, while at the same time it tends to simplify the complexity of the work, abstracted as a simple symbol. It continually updates the reproduction of a piece of work, which in turn reduces it to an ever-changing image. As a result, diagrams can easily become consumption of things and events and become consumption of our experience of the world in which we live. The article critically points out that illustration is not merely a disguise of reality or a reality of social construction. It is also an expression of nihilism.
