根据油茶低产林改造区油茶生长的特点和食叶害虫危害是低改区油茶生产主要威胁的实际情况,开展了失叶危害对油茶生长和茶油产量的影响、食叶害虫动态经济阈值和害虫综合治理的研究.首次揭示了少量失叶(<5%)和轻度失叶可出现超补偿和补偿的现象,以及随后失叶越多,损失越重的规律.同时,依据受害程度与产量损失的关系,建立了食叶害虫危害的动态经济阈值模型.在总结现有研究成果的基础上,提出了油茶主要害虫的综合治理措施.
