节约金属材料是铸造工作者当前的重要任务，减少铸件加工余量乃是节约企属的有效途径。大连机床厂现行铸件加工余量标准虽然还不够完备，但与 ＦＯＣＴ １８５５－５５二级铸件加工余量标准比较，留量还更少些。足见局属各厂已经有可能逐步采用ＴＯＣＴ１８５５—５５ 标准。ＦＯＣＴ１８５５－５５标准和新旧标准化比较的说明可参考一部技术司编的“活叶技术资料－锻冶 ６”（１９５６年９月 １日印）。
Saving metal materials is an important task for foundry workers. Reducing the machining allowance for castings is an effective way to save companies. Although the current machining allowance for castings in Dalian Machine Tool Works is not yet complete, it is less than the FOCT 1855-55 secondary castings allowance standard. It is already possible to gradually adopt the TOCT 1855-55 standard. The description of the comparison between the FOCT1855-55 standard and the old and new standardization can be found in the “Sample Technical Data - Forging and Smelting 6” edited by a technical department (printed on September 1, 1956).
