Objective To evaluate the effect of quality control ring activities on the knowledge of diseases and the quality of urinary tract health management in patients with intermittent catheterization. Methods Seventy patients with intermittent catheterization were randomly divided into quality control group and control group. Quality control circle group conduct quality control ring activities, the control group to conventional intermittent catheterization, six months later, the two groups of patients awareness of disease awareness and urinary tract infection. Results There was no significant difference in knowledge of disease knowledge and urinary tract infection rate between the two groups before intervention (P> 0.05). After conducting QA activities, awareness rate of disease knowledge in QA group and control group increased respectively To 85.29% and 50.00% respectively. The urinary tract infection rate decreased to 8.82% and 29.41% respectively. There was a significant difference in the awareness of disease knowledge and urinary tract infection before and after the activity (P <0.05). Knowledge of disease awareness and urinary tract infection among patients in the control group were better than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusions Quality control ring activities improve awareness of disease knowledge in patients with intermittent catheterization and reduce urinary tract infection rates.
