目前,老年大学大都开设了英语班,让许多从未接触过英语的老年人有了学习外语、了解世界的机会。与在校学生和在职人员相比,老年人学习英语的目的主要是为出国旅游、探亲,或是丰富晚年生活,因此笔者认为,老年大学的英语教学应侧重于基础口语的训练。结合自己在老年大学6年的学习感受和组织提高班、英语角的体会,现就老年英语教学中应该注意的一些问题谈谈个人浅见。重视模仿训练。语言学习源于模仿,同样,提高英语
At present, most elderly colleges and universities have set up English classes so that many elderly people who have never spoken with English have the opportunity to learn foreign languages and understand the world. Compared with school students and serving staff, the purpose of older people to learn English is mainly to travel abroad, visit relatives, or enrich their later life. Therefore, I believe that English teaching in senile universities should focus on the training of basic spoken English. Combined with my six years of learning experience at senior university and the organization to improve the experience of classes and English corners, I now talk about my personal opinions on some issues that should be paid attention to during my senior English teaching.
