黔单5号系由我所从地方品种“卢山大黄”中选择优良单株自交分离四代选育成的自交系“卢4161”作母本,外引自交系“自331”(来自辽宁丹东)作文本。1976年组配而成。 一、产量表现 经1977～81年院内外试验结果,增产显著。77年院内杂交种鉴定试验,亩产1218斤,比黔单2号增产39％。1978～79年参加玉米杂交种比较试验,亩产780.3～1085.7斤,比黔单2号增产16.4％;比黔单4号增产16％。1978～79年参加全省玉米杂交种多点试验,亩产705.3～944.5斤,比对照增产16.4～33.7％。
