当前,制约中国工程机械配套件行业发展的主要问题是“技术创新”问题。中国工程机械配套件企业很多,但大多数实力较弱,没有自主技术创新能力,因此模仿、“克隆”成了发展产品的主要手段。产品雷同,低水平重复投资、重复建设严重,带来的恶果是主机企业十分需要的具有较高技术含量的产品缺失,或是拱手让给外国配套件企业；而低技术含量的产品却大量过剩,形成恶性竞争,整个配套件行业销售额大增,利润却大幅度下降,大大制约了整个行业的发展。因此,加大技术创新力度,提高产品附加值,成为中国工程机械配套件行业的当务之急和重中之重。
