~(210)Pb法测年,是近二十年发展起来的一项应用新技术。它利用同位素~(210)Pb衰变的原理,可测定百年以来现代沉积物的绝对年代和沉积速率。八十年代初期,我国已成功地把~(210)Pb法应用于地理、地质和海洋学的研究,用于测定湖泊、港湾、河口湾、潮间带、陆架、陆坡等沉积物的绝对年代和沉积速率。实践证明,~(210)Pb法与纹泥法、树木年轮法、孢粉法及某些放射性同位素法一样,是一种较可靠的测年方法。在国外,~(210)Pb法还用于测定冰川、极地冰雪和深海等沉积物的绝对年代和沉积速率。
~ (210) Pb dating, is a new technology developed in recent twenty years. It uses the principle of decay of isotope ~ (210) Pb to determine the absolute age and sedimentation rate of modern sediment since a hundred years ago. In the early 1980s, the ~ (210) Pb method has been successfully applied in geography, geology and oceanography in China to determine the absolute age of sediments such as lakes, estuaries, estuaries, intertidal zones, continental shelf and continental slope And deposition rate. Practice has proved that the ~ (210) Pb method is a more reliable dating method, like the clover method, tree ring method, sporopollen method and some radioisotope methods. Abroad, ~ (210) Pb method is also used to determine the absolute age and sedimentation rate of glaciers, polar ice and deep sea sediments.
