In this paper, some latent relations of various Chinese courses are demonstrated by means of correlation analysis and anomaly correlation analysis based on the scores of foreign learners at the elementary and advanced levels. The results show: 1) Listening comprehension plays an important role in all elementary courses; 2) The relation between listening and speaking abilities of the elementary learners vary considerably from individual to individual; 3 ) The ad- vanced reading courses and reading & writing courses show strong correlation, while listening and newspaper reading, as well as listening and writing, show weak correlation; and 4) For the ad- vanced learner, the reading & writing courses, except the reading of newspapers, are the most difficult of all.
