水利是农业的命脉。土壤水份的多寡,对土壤中养份的转化和作物的生长发育,关系极为密切。作物不同生育阶段对水份的需求是各异的,而不同时期土壤水份的状况,又受气象条件、土壤特性、作物品种和栽培措施等综合作用的影响。因此,摸清土壤水份的动态,掌握作物的需水规律,以采取相应的农技措施,来改善不良的土壤水份状况,充分利用有利的土壤水份资源,最大限度地满足作物在不同生育期的需求,保证作物正常生长,达到高产稳产的目的,是水利科研的一项重大课题。
