目前,一般的说,对京剧二黄腔调结构的分析是:由上、下旬组成一段(句中可分成小分句),由一个上下句或一些上、下句的积垒构成一个唱段。这种分析对唱词是适应的。而唱腔就不一定了。比如余叔岩演唱的《搜孤救孤》中程婴唱的二黄原版。(参见中国戏曲研究院编《京剧唱腔》第一集下编33—38页,人民音乐出版社,1980年版) 其唱词的结构是;由七个字组成一句,上下两句构成一段,然后是段的多次积垒。比较单一、规律。 其唱腔的结构,我们可以明显的看出分成三个部分:
