本文选取中国十三个资本和技术密集型制造业行业1993-2011年的数据,使用门槛回归的方法,从人力资本角度重新审视中国的技术引进与技术进步之间的关系。研究发现,技术引进对于技术进步作用在人力资本水平扩大的过程中存在门槛效应。人力资本水平较低时,技术引进对技术进步起到抑制作用,当人力资本水平较高时,存在促进作用。实证检验结果表明在样本期内我国多数行业平均人力资本水平处于门槛右侧,技术引进仍然对技术进步起着显著的正向作用,技术引进较为有效。
This paper chooses the data of 13 capital and technology-intensive manufacturing industries in China from 1993 to 2011 and uses the threshold regression method to re-examine the relationship between China’s technology introduction and technological progress from the perspective of human capital. The study found that the introduction of technology for the role of technological progress in the expansion of human capital level there is a threshold effect. When the level of human capital is low, the introduction of technology can restrain the progress of technology. When the level of human capital is high, there is a promotion effect. The empirical test results show that in the sample period, the average human capital level of most industries in China is on the right side of the threshold. Technology introduction still plays a significant positive role in technological progress and technology introduction is more effective.
