The Vertical Seismic Profile Method (VSP) makes it possible to record and study the reflected seismic wavelet amplitudes close to any reflecting layer, enabling the existing reservoir information to be expanded outward from the wells where VSP measurements were made. The method proposed in this paper is of special significance for inclined wells and also applies to areas where the measuring area or inclined formation is laterally covered from the well to the outside.
