研究的孢粉组合获自孟加拉国巴拉普库利亚煤矿CSE9号钻孔。该组合含孢子6属8种、花粉34属65种(含2新种),主要由Faunipolenites(8%-26.5%),Striatopodocarpites(3%-7.5%)与Scheuringipolenites(7.2%-9.6%)等两气囊花粉组成。该孢粉组合的特征可与印度下冈瓦纳巴拉卡尔组孢粉植物群对比,并与其上部组合最为接近,时代为早二叠世晚期
The sporopollen assemblage studied was obtained from CSE-9 borehole at the Balapulia coal mine in Bangladesh. The assemblage contains 8 species of 6 genera and 6 species of 65 genera (including 2 species) of pollen, which are mainly composed of Faunipolenites (8% -26.5%), Striatopodocarpites (3% -7.5%) and Scheuringipolenites % -9.6%) and other two balloon pollen composition. The characteristics of this sporopollen assemblage can be compared with the sporopollen assemblages of the Barakar Formation in Lower Gondwana, India and are the closest to the upper part of the assemblage, dating from the late Early Permian
