Over the years, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) conducted a genetic testing of female participants in order to ensure that all women athletes participating in women’s competitions were female and tried their best to prevent men from concealing their true gender from going to women’s competitions. This test is not fair to women with a genetic abnormality at birth. They say there is a nice and easy way to prove that an athlete is a woman, just let the doctor do a check. The Washington Post recently reported the story of Spanish athlete Maria Patino. The lady has repeatedly set a hurdle race record, in 1985 to participate in the World University Games held in Japan, but genetic testing proved that she has a genome that is usually found only in men, Miss Patino was Expelled the game. Much of her grade is off the record book.
