转型发展是新时期赋予老年大学的时代责任。本文就山东老年大学转型发展的实践进行梳理并作了一些思考。从该校办学实践看:他们坚持发挥示范引领作用,推进了办学理念和功能定位的转型;坚持多元化办学,推进了办学模式的转型;坚持规范化发展,促进了教学管理的转型;坚持开放办学,推动了服务理念的转型;坚持改革创新,用创新思维破解难题,引领转型发展。为了全面推进老年大学的转型发展,文章认为必须勇于担当,不断提高思想认识、转变思想观念,扭住在功能定位上发挥好示范引领作用这个核心,注重老年大学内涵发展,努力完成新时期赋予老年大学转型发展的重大历史使命。
