在水仙花吐芬争艳的福建漳州,福建省戏剧家协会和漳州电视台,于1991年底联合举办了一场别开生面的福建省水仙花戏剧电视竞赛。福建的戏剧艺术历史悠久,剧种繁多,剧目丰富,名角辈出,素有“戏剧之乡”的美称。举办这次戏剧知识竞赛,是为了弘扬民族优秀文化,提高戏剧队伍的素质,传播乡音乡曲,加深戏剧界与广大观众的联系,扩大戏剧艺术的社会影响和普及戏剧知识,推动文艺工作者学习党的文艺方针、政策。
