Spraying scores are often used to measure left ventricular function in patients with heart disease, however, in patients with mitral regurgitation, the assessment of left ventricular function may be high. Isometric exercise can increase the heart’s afterload and is used as a stress test. The aim of this study was to evaluate the value of isometric exercise in an invasive approach to reveal LV dysfunction in patients with mitral regurgitation. Second, to understand the post-stress stress test predicts the value of mitral valve replacement on ventricular function. Methods: Mitral regurgitation was performed in 15 patients with moderate to severe mitral regurgitation. The mean age was 55 ± 5 years. There were 8 males and 7 females.
