利用二维过渡金属材料WS_2作为2μm波段可饱和吸收体,采用典型的X型四镜腔结构,实现了Tm,Ho:LuLiF_4激光器低阈值被动调Q运转。实验结果表明,吸收功率为260mW时开始启动调Q运转,吸收抽运功率大于650mW时,调Q激光脉冲进入稳定运转。抽运功率为2000mW时,在中心波长1895nm波段输出功率为88mW,典型脉冲宽度为4μs,重复频率为16.89kHz,对应最大单脉冲能量为5.21μJ。结果表明,WS_2材料可以作为2μm固体激光器的可饱和吸收体。
The low threshold of Tm and Ho: LuLiF_4 laser is achieved by passive Q-switched operation, using the two-dimensional transition metal WS_2 as the saturable absorber in the 2μm band and the typical X-type four-mirror structure. The experimental results show that when the absorption power is 260mW, the Q-switching operation is started. When the pumping power is greater than 650mW, the Q-switched laser pulse enters stable operation. At a pumping power of 2000mW, the output power at the center wavelength of 1895nm is 88mW, the typical pulse width is 4μs, the repetition frequency is 16.89kHz, and the corresponding maximum single-pulse energy is 5.21μJ. The results show that WS_2 can be used as a saturable absorber for 2μm solid-state lasers.
