枸杞子为茄科植物(Ly cium bar.barum L)的成熟果实,微寒无毒,性甘平,以宁夏枸杞子为正品,质最佳,历代《本草》对枸杞子的作用均有记载。中国药典对枸杞子的功能也有记述。日本学者报道枸杞子有抑制癌细胞生长、繁殖的作用。我国学者报道枸杞子能提高巨噬细胞吞噬功能、血清溶菌酶活力、抗体效价及增加小鼠脾中抗体形成细胞的数量。以上实验研究均是在试管或动物身上进行的。本文以志愿者口服宁夏枸杞子观察对人白细胞数量、淋巴细胞转化和巨噬细胞吞噬功能的影响,现报道如下: 观察对象、方法和结果一、受试者: 50名本院职工及家属(多数为体质较弱、白细胞计数偏低者)和28例住院和门诊进行放射治疗的恶性肿瘤患者(鼻咽癌、肺癌、食道癌、胃癌、乳癌、直肠癌等)。
