Such as: the idioms “in full swing”, “gongs and drums”, “Mingluogongdaokou” and so on; Proverb “speaks, gongs and drums listen to sound”, “A thousand hammer pounding gongs, a hammer Dingyin” Twisters after the “knocking gongs to catch the sparrow - in vain”, “Bells beat gong - another tone”, “shut the door playing gong - name (Ming) sound out” and so on. It shows that people are already very familiar with this copper, round percussion instrument - Gong. From the earliest known earthen objects in our country, the gong in the early Western Han Dynasty, the first tomb of Luo Bowan in Guixian County, Guangxi Province, has had at least 2,000 years of history in our country.
