Since July 1, 1995, the railway system has been implemented for five days a week. How to guide cadres and workers in organizing a weekend on a scientific basis is a very urgent task facing the ideological and political work in enterprises. The new “weekends and holidays” have increased the rest time of employees, expanded the entertainment space for employees and improved people’s quality of life, which is beneficial for promoting the physical and mental health of employees, relieving the fatigue caused by intense work and improving work efficiency. However, There are also some new contradictions arising from the political quality of staff and workers, cultural accomplishment, and hobbies and interests.
