义理之性“概念是由朱熹浙江永嘉弟子陈埴提出和系统阐发的,是对朱熹心性论的推进,也是南宋儒学形而上学化思想进程的重要反映,后来明代心学思想家认其具有性二元论内涵而予以尖锐批判,也进一步凸显了此概念的学术意义。冯友兰《新理学》立足新实在论,运用逻辑分析方法对传统理学予以改造,将传统理学概念灌注以新的思想内涵。在传统理学中,”义理之性“只是在人性论中来展开,而在新理学中此概念内涵已溢出人性论藩篱而延伸到物性论。对此概念的研究不仅可以集中发掘其研究方法,对于揭示冯友兰新理学对于现代中国哲学范式的建构均也具有重要价值。
