锥形光纤广泛应用于传光领域,它的传输特性已经成为研究热点。利用光线追迹法对锥形光纤的入射光线进行跟踪和分析,主要讨论了光从小端入大端出和从大端入小端出这两种情况。经过ZEMAX软件仿真和数值模拟得出:当光从小端入大端出时,锥形光纤的耦合效率迅速的提高,达到70%;当光从大端入小端出时,出光端的光强随着小端的半径减小而增加,而传输效率却逐渐减小,光场也会随着锥长的增长而减弱。这对实际工作中如何有效的制作和应用锥形光纤具有指导意义。
Conical fiber is widely used in the field of light transmission, its transmission characteristics have become a research hotspot. The ray tracing method is used to track and analyze the incident light of the tapered optical fiber. The two cases of light entering from the small end to the large end and from the large end to the small end are mainly discussed. After ZEMAX software simulation and numerical simulation, it is concluded that the coupling efficiency of the tapered optical fiber rapidly increases to 70% when the light enters from the small end to the large end. When the light exits from the large end to the small end, The radius of the small end decreases and increases, while the transmission efficiency is gradually reduced, the optical field will decrease with the growth of the cone length. This is practical guidance on how to make and use tapered optical fibers effectively.
