近来,在机械工程学、精密加工学、土木工程学等方面引人注目,经常议论的技术有《超高压技术》.这里所说的《超高压技术》指的是下列断裂技术的总称,即:采用一定的方法,使液体产生为空气中音速数倍的高速液体射流,并利用这种射流,如在材料加工时,用以进行微孔加工、切断或破碎等切削新工艺;在破坏岩石时,用以开挖微型沟槽或利用高速液体组造成大量岩石的冲击性破坏.因此它与通常所说的《超高压技术》不同,实际上也许叫《超高压技术的应用》更为恰当.
